How do I stay safe while using ClassifiedBD

Please take the following precautions while using the site:

Use common sense. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

When buying or selling, you should meet in-person to see the product and exchange funds. Meet in a public place with many people around, such as a coffee shop.
Never send or wire money to sellers or buyers. This includes never mailing a cheque or using payment services like PayPal, Bidpay, Western Union or Money Gram to pay for items found on ClassifiedBD.
Do not give out personal or banking information (e.g. bank account number) over the Internet.
Never give out your password, even if asked to do so in an email supposedly sent by ClassifiedBD employees. When entering your ClassifiedBD password make sure the web address starts with http://classifiedbd.com/
Make yourself aware of common scams. Do not believe the promise of large sums of money for your help in any task.

How can I make changes to my Ad?

If you are a registered classifiedBD user, sign in, click My Ads. Click the arrow (>>) under edit next to the Ad you would like to change.

If you did not go through the registration process, then you can contact us with the link of your ad and description of the changes. We will make the changes for you within 24 hours.

How can I get more people to see my Ad?

Ads are displayed according to their posting date in descending order. In future we plan to reserve spaces to show paid ads on top of regular ads.

Yes, it's 100% free to post and reply to Ads on classifiedbd.com. We can be completely free for users because advertisements and features (such as Top Ads) help us pay our bills. If you want to see your ads on the first page, we charge a little for that.

How can I include images in my Ad?

On the top left hand corner click on the Menu â€œPost Free Adâ€. At the bottom of that page, next to Add image, click on Browse. Select the image from your computer. If you want to add more images, click on add next image. You can upload upto 3 images.

If you have problems uploading pictures, please try the following:

Reduce the size of the pictures to be less than 2MB each
Ensure the pictures are in GIF, JPEG, JPG format
Turn off any anti-virus or firewall software
Make sure you're using the latest version of your web browser
